Dr. Coryllos had become well- identified whereas organizing the first cell surgical models at Verdun and Chateau Thierry in France in 1917. These cellular items had been supported by doctors and nurses from the Roosevelt Hospital of New York City. Dr. Coryllos received honorary medals from the French, Romanian and Greek governments. He subsequently turned Professor of Surgery at Cornell Medical College of New York, and was Chief of Surgery on the Metropolitan and Seaview Hospital in New York City.
